LAKEWOOD, CO- The National College Baseball Writers of America released their All Region teams, and two Cougars landed on the list. Gabe Ramos and Jordan Medina nabbed spots on the second team for their stellar seasons. 

Ramos led the team in home runs with his powerful swing, launching 19 long balls over the course of the season. He played in every game for the Cougars this year in right field, recording 117 putouts in the field. Ramos tallied a team high 53 RBI on 60 hits in his 178 at bats. With a .337 average and 1.176 OPS, Gabe established himself as one of the best players in both the conference and the region all year. 

Medina was integral to the teams' success this year, playing a key role at catcher and at the plate. Medina blasted 17 home runs while recording 51 RBI with 50 runs scored. He hit for an average of .357 and a slugging percentage of .735 while maintaining an OPS of 1.165. At catcher, Medina notched a perfect fielding percentage with 207 putouts and 13 runners caught stealing. He asserted himself as one of the most complete all around players in the RMAC and South Central Region with his performance this season.
