Colorado Christian Close Series vs Orediggers with Doubleheader

GOLDEN, CO- The Cougars closed their first RMAC series of the season with a doubleheader at Mines on Monday. The offense got more run production on this day, but the Orediggers claimed the pair of contests 8-3 and 9-4.

GAME ONE
The hosts scored first in the games first inning and tacked on another in the third. CCU responded in the fourth as Luke Thompson ripped a solo homer followed by an RBI double from Aaron Morgan to tie the game at 2-2.

The home team went on a run from there, scoring six straight runs to take an 8-2 lead. Caden Walton tallied an RBI groundout in the ninth, but it wasn't enough as Mines claimed game one 8-3.
