LAKEWOOD,CO- Colorado Christian fell 57–43 to Colorado Mesa on Saturday afternoon, but the Cougars showed stretches of efficient offense and strong perimeter shooting in their RMAC matchup
at the CCU Event Center.

Game Overview
Colorado Christian led 27-26 at halftime after a disciplined first 20 minutes in which the Cougars' defense held Colorado Mesa to 11 made field goals and forced theMavericks to work deep into the shot clock. CCU finished on the wrong side of a 31–16 second‑half margin as Colorado Mesa's size and free‑throw advantage, and offensive
rebounds ultimately created the final 57–43 score line.

Cougar Standouts
Senior guard Pierce Bazil led Colorado Christian with 18 points in 36 minutes, attacking the basket to finish a perfect 10-for-10 at the free‑throw line while also grabbing three rebounds. Lincoln Cantrell added 12 points and one assists while shooting efficiently outside the arc.

Despite the setback, CCU moves forward at 3–5 overall and 0–2 in RMAC play with clear positives in half‑court defense, three‑point efficiency, and late‑game free‑throw
