LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their pitcher and player of the week for softball on Tuesday, and Emma Duncan and Camryn Quilling have garnered their first honor of the season after a split with Colorado Mesa this past weekend. 

Duncan was lights out in the circle against the Mavericks, lowering her ERA to a conference best 1.52. In her first start of the weekend in game two on Saturday, Emma tied a program record for most innings pitched in a single game as she went a full 11 innings to lead her team to victory. Along the way, Duncan struck out four, allowed just four hits and did not let up a single earned run. The 134 pitch effort from the senior paved the way for a thrilling 3-2 walkoff victory in extras. Duncan came with her best stuff yet again on day two, striking out seven batters in 5.1 innings of work to limit the opponent and continue her excellent play this season. 

Quilling broke out against one of the best teams in the conference in Colorado Mesa this weekend in a four-game home series. The senior was pivotal for her team at the plate, going a total of 7-12 with two home runs and a trio of RBI. In game two, Camryn was the most consistent hitter in the game as she three times singled to get on base. That paid off in the 11th inning as she ledoff with a single and made it home on a sacrifice fly for the walkoff victory. The next day saw another 3-3 day from Quilling, but this time the ball left the yard. With two homers in her first two at bats, a solo shot and two-run blast, the Nevada native put her hand print all over the 6-1 victory.
