SAINT LEO, FL- Colorado Christian traveled to Florida for series two of the season beginning Friday with a matchup at Saint Leo University. The Lions jumped ahead early and never looked back en route to a 23-2 victory.
A tough first inning saw Saint Leo score eight runs to take control.
Cade Lacy roped an RBI double down the left field line to plate
Aidan Welsh in the second, but that was all CCU would get in the inning to make it 8-1.
The hosts scored four runs in the second and fourth innings to put the game out of reach, and despite another RBI off a Lacy single in the sixth to score
Nathan Mensen, CCU fell in seven innings 23-2.
