- OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | Close enjoys spike ball, sleeping, and eating. She says, “It is the perfect triad of hobbies.”
- WHY DID YOU CHOOSE CCU | “The volleyball team was very warm and welcoming! Bobby, Jason, and I were all roasting each other during my visit. I knew I had to come back to continue the battle throughout the next four years. Also, the Kinesiology program was brand new, and I wanted to give it a chance. I am so glad I did! I know God put me in the right place at the right time."
- FAMILY TIES | Close is the daughter of Steve and Dana. She has one older brother. Mackenzie’s mother was on the crew team at UCLA.
- POST COLLEGE DREAMS | Mackenzie hopes to eventually open her own PT clinic!
