Why is playing your sport at CCU important to you? How is it different from your other competitive experiences?
CCU athletics is an opportunity to express a relationship with Christ that I have in the form of a Sport. It gives me the opportunity to do more than just play sports, but build relationships that have mold me as a man.
What kind of legacy are you hoping to leave at CCU after your career is over?
When I think of a legacy I see someone that has left behind a memory and a goal. With one year left I hope to help set a course for the men stepping into these positions as athletes. I hope that when this year comes to an end that it will be seen as a year of transformation that led men’s basketball down a course of victory on and off the court.
In what ways have you changed as a result of your time as a CCU Athlete?
CCU Athletics has changed the course of my life. Through mentorship and life experiences I have been challenged to mature. It has shown me the way that Christ desires to reach out to every person in their own unique way.
Who has been most influential in your spiritual, academic, or athletic development as a CCU student-athlete?
My coaches have influenced me the most spiritually. Professor Buzzel has influenced me the most off the court with his view in life and desiring of life worth living.
