Ranked 60th overall in the state of Texas (senior year)...averaged 15.5 points/game...shot 48% from the three point line--placed 15th in the Dallas Metro-Plex with 74 three pointers...lettered two years starter at Hebron High School with those years combined 1,002 points...named 9-4a District Offensive Player of the year in the 2005-2006 season (Junior Year)...Carrolton Ranch View All Tournament Team...named to the 5A - All Texas Region Team (senior year)...named to the 6-5A 1st Team All District...Test the Waters All tournament team...invited to play in the DABC All Star game
Why is playing your sport at CCU important to you? How is it different from your other competitive experiences?
Playing Basketball at CCU is important to me because I can use a talent that God has blessed me with and use it to create bonds with other students, coaches, faculty, and use it to glorify his name. CCU Basketball is different from all of my previous competitive experiences because it is a sports program centered and devoted to God and I’m surrounded by a coaching staff and players that really care you for me as a person and care about me developing a strong faith for Christ.
What kind of legacy are you hoping to leave at CCU after your career is over?
When my career is over at CCU I hope to leave a positive impact on the school as good student and as a respectful and hard-working individual that cares about people and the will of God. I want to make a stamp on CCU athletics as one the hardest working athletes and leaders a team can possibly have.
What are you looking forward to most in your first year at CCU?
My first year in CCU I’m really looking forward to making new friends and bonds with my peers and growing my faith in God by becoming involved in different campus activities. I am also looking forward to the basketball season and creating lifelong friendships with my teammates and playing together to have a successful season.
