Why is playing your sport at CCU important to you? How is it different from your other competitive experiences?
Playing my sport at CCU is important to me because it has been huge in shaping me into the man I am today and the man I am pursuing to be in my life. It is different from my other competitive experiences because the concern is more about preparing me to live out my faith in the real world than winning basketball games.
What kind of legacy are you hoping to leave at CCU after your career is over?
I am hoping to leave the legacy of a changed culture. The culture I desire for at CCU is one of passion, care for one another, and men and women who represent Christ as the passionate, powerful, loving, mighty men and women He made us to be.
In what ways have you changed as a result of your time as a CCU Athlete?
I have learned what a true Christian really looks like. We are not mediocre, timid, or weak little Christians. The Spirit of the living God of the universe is inside of us and that makes us powerful, passionate, caring, and compassionate warriors for Him.
Who has been most influential in your spiritual, academic, or athletic development as a CCU student-athlete?
My coach, David Daniels. He has been my mentor and my example of what I want to pursue in my life. He has shown me just how much he loves and cares for me each and every day I have had the privilege to know him. I am blessed to be able to call him coach and friend.
