The 2019-20 season will Denver Klaus's second stint as a men's basketball assistant coach. Prior to serving as an Athletic Director at Faith Christian Academy the past two years, Klaus returns to the Cougar staff.
The native of Bennington, NE earned his undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education from Nebraska-Kearney. Klaus proceeded to work towards his Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado Christian in 2015.
He is married to former Cougars volleyball standout Taylor Sturms. The couple recently had their first child and they reside in the Denver area.Â
