Year by Year

2024-2025 | Competed in 5 tournaments during the fall with a 13th place finish at the Writz at Mile High to start the year. Took part in 6 spring tournaments with an impressive 6th place finish at the RMAC Championships.
2023-2024 | Jones competed at the Writz at Mile High as an individual with a low second round score of 72. He also competed at the HPU Sharks Shootout with a low second round of 75. He wrapped up the fall season at the Dennis Rose Invitational where he tied for 6th as he carded 70 and 71.
2022- 2023 | His best game was at Regionals where he posted 66 strokes in the first round tying for 13th place. He also helped his team to first place in the Southern CO Masters as well as a second place finish for the team at the RMAC Championships as he tied for 12th with Dylan Arthur.

(Theodore Roosevelt). Jones likes this quote because it talks about the struggles of becoming the best one can be. No matter what happens, he is reassured that as he gives his dreams, his best efforts, he is satisfied.
FAVORITE CCU MOMENT & WHY | Jones favorite moment on the golf team when the entire men’s golf team went to Breckinridge together and played on some amazing golf courses. This provided a great atmosphere for team bonding bringing the team closer to each other.
OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | When Jones is not playing golf, he is either hanging out with his roommates or fishing with others from the newly formed fishing club on campus.
FAMILY TIES | Peyton Jones is the son to Janie and Gannon Jones. He is also the oldest of three with a younger brother named Bowen and a younger sister named Sophie.
WHY CCU? | Jones chose CCU because of Coach Hull. Coach Hull provided all the important qualities that Jones was looking for in a golf coach. Additionally, CCU is a true Christian college that is not just say they are a Christian college but delivers in their words with their actions and doctrine that they uphold.
POST COLLEGE DREAMS | After CCU, Jones hopes to play in the PGA Tour. If he is unable to play, then Jones hopes to use his business degree to get into the golf industry or do real estate renovating and selling houses.
