A three sport student-athlete from Los Alamos, N.M., Delano amassed back-to-back club soccer state championships, one HS soccer state championship, three high school track state championships, a school record in the 4x100 relay, and two hockey state championships. He was named district Player of the Year for two straight years. First-team all-state honors his junior and senior year. Delano was named Male Athlete of the year for Los Alamos High School for his academic, athletic and humanitarian achievements.

On returning to the program Delano says, "I'm excited to come back and help push this program further than it has ever been! As a player, I saw the program get better over my 4 years and now I want to help CCU Men's Soccer get to the next level and compete on the national stage. At CCU I was fortunate to have incredible experiences both on and off the field. I left with a world-class education, memories that will last a lifetime and great friendships. I believe CCU has the potential to be the best place in the country to get a Christian education and play soccer in a team that strives to glorify God in all things. I'm humbled to be a part of it all."

He also coaches the 03 boys academy team at Colorado Rush. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, camping, climbing and exploring Denver.Â
