Before being born again we are all slaves to our desires and are too distracted to see it. Once I surrendered to Jesus I realized He had already set me free and that I was no longer a slave to this world. The peace I am able to reach after that is now beyond my understanding, and it might even be the most vivid memory I have because of how profound it was, how much it has replayed in my head."
