Why is playing your sport at CCU important to you? How is it different from your other competitive experiences?
Playing soccer at CCU is an experience unlike any other. To walk onto the field with a team with a common purpose brings a unity that manifests itself in play distinctly. We truly have an Audience of One, and play for each other and Him.
What kind of legacy are you hoping to leave at CCU after your career is over?
I want to be remembered as a player that left it all out on the field – a true player with HEART. (1 Samuel 16:7)
What are you looking forward to most in your first year at CCU?
I am looking forward to working with all of my teammates to achieve a successful and enjoyable season.
In what ways have you changed as a result of your time as a CCU Athlete?
I am a completely different player now than when I arrived at CCU. I am not on the field to gain glory for myself. I am there to help build/support my team and grow mentally, physically and spiritually through every battle on the field.
Who has been most influential in your spiritual, academic, or athletic development as a CCU student-athlete?
I have a lot of people who have influenced my life while at CCU: my parents, Carl and Sandy Corona, my family, Erin Hayes, Joseph Younkerman, Tammy McPherson, Nancy Swanson, Dr. Ray Mitsch, the Gill family, and the Werner family.
