2024 | In her senior season, Newell broke out as one of the most impactful players within the RMAC. Newell produced career highs in many categories including kills (319) and points (345.5). Her most notable performance came at South Dakota Mines (11/19/24) in the Cougars first round victory in the RMAC Championships where she posted a career high 29 kills, placing her second all-time for kills in a single game in Cougars history. Earlier in the season, she earned a 26 kill performance at Colorado School of Mines (10/05/24), giving her 2 of the 3 highest kill games in the RMAC (1st---3rd). She placed 7th in kills (3.47 K/S) and 9th in points (3.76 P/S) in the RMAC. Newell's outstanding play was awarded when she was named 2nd Team All-Conference.
2023 | Newell saw action in 9 matches and 12 sets. She tallied 14 kills, 14 digs, and 3 block assists.
2022 | Newell saw action in 22 matches and 55 sets. Newell had a season high of 13 kills vs. South Dakota Mines on October 1^st, 2022. Newell tallied 119 kills on the season with 73 digs and 12 block assists.
2021 | Newell saw action in 5 matches and 8 sets. Newell had a season high of 6 kills vs. Western Colorado on November 6^th, 2021. Newell tallied 13 kills on the season with 7 digs, and 1 block assist.
