Why did you choose CCU over other schools you might have played at? Why is playing at CCU important to you?
I chose CCU because it is truly different from all the rest. At CCU we play for an audience of ONE. Here I have built lasting relationships, grown to become a woman of the Lord, made memories I will never forget, and understood what it really means to have a relationship with Jesus.
How would you like to be remembered when your college athletic career is over?
Last year, during Senior Chapel, a student spoke about what legacy he wanted to leave behind. It is not about me, or people remembering my name and the great things that I did. It is all about Jesus, and that is the legacy I want to leave beind--HIM.
What are you hoping to accomplish this year as an individual? As a team?
This year I want to build relationships, work hard, win, play for God, and share His love with others.
Other activities/clubs/ministries you have been involved in since coming to CCU (please include mission trips)...
Our mission trip to Costa Rica was incredible. It has a lasting impact upon my heart.
What has been your most memorable moment so far as an athlete at CCU?
I have so many memories to choose from--great moments on the court, tough victories, Disney World, rides in the People Mover...it has been a neat adventure.
In what ways have you changed as a result of your time as a CCU Athlete?
I have learned a lot about who I am, and what it means to love the Lord and others.
Who has been most influential in your spiritual, academic, or athletic development as a CCU student-athlete?
It is hard to pick one person. Everyone who has been a part of my life has helped me to learn and grow.
