After her coaching career, Cassidy returned to Colorado Christian in 2018 to be the Director of Marketing and Events. After three successful years, she then became the Assistant Athletic Director of Operations and Communications in January of 2022.

Coach Burke was an assistant coach for the CCU Volleyball program since 2014. During her time at CCU, she played a pivotal role in the growth and development of players in the program. She has coached two NCAA DII All-Americans and helped the Cougars win three NCCAA Regional Championships and make three RMAC tournament appearances.

Cassidy graduated from CCU in 2013 with All-Academic honors and played four seasons, as captain, with the CCU Volleyball program, and ended her career with the program’s first ever NCAA National appearance. During her time with the Cougars, Burke was awarded the 2013 Female Athlete of the Year, 2013 Cougar Athlete of the Year, and the 2012 Cougar Heart and Hustle Athlete of the Year.  
 
Before coaching college teams, Cassidy coached club volleyball for eight years and co-founded a club in the Denver area. She has led three athletic missions trips to Costa Rica, two mission trips to Vanuatu, and continually finds new ways to bring the community together with all CCU Athletic programs.

She completed bachelor’s degrees in both Business Administration and Accounting with a double emphasis in Marketing and Biblical Studies. During her years coaching for the Cougars, she has completed two Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership and emphases in Project Management and Social Change. She has successfully utilized her education in the financial world, working for companies such as Janus Henderson as a Global Presentation Coordinator and WHV Investment Management as a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager. 


In her most recent endeavor, Cassidy wrote a children's book,You Are You, which tackles the topic of youth suicide by providing a platform for parents to talk to their children about tough topics.
