The Colorado Christian men's soccer team was defeated 4-1 on Sunday afternoon by the strong offensive output from Fort Lewis College. Three of their four goals were scored within the first 31 minutes of the first period, and the Cougars were unable to rebound and get back into the game.

Down 3-0 CCU showed signs of life just before the end of the first half as they were able to get one past the Skyhawks goal keeper. The goal came from senior
John Weber assisted by sophomore
Joe Wilkes. The goal was the first one of the season for Weber. CCU was unable to draw any closer in the game as the lone second half goal was scored by Fort Lewis with only ten minutes remaining in the match.

The loss drops the Cougars to 1-12-1 on the year and 1-8-1 within conference play. The team returns home for their next two games as they will take on Adams State on Friday, and then take on Fort Lewis again on Sunday. The game Friday will be at Lakewood Memorial Field in Lakewood, CO with game time scheduled for 3:30PM MST.
