CCU Volleyball had a tough match on Halloween night against Western New Mexico University who is 11-4 in conference. The Mustangs won in three sets with scores of 25-15, 25-19, and 25-20.
Colorado Christian struggled in serve-receive, which disarmed the Cougar offense to execute. Despite the tough attackers on the other side of the net, blue and gold had 40 digs. Freshman

Connie Olson led the team in the back row with seven digs each.
Right side senior,
Kaylee Pierce was Christian's main point scorer of the night with eight kills on 20 attempts, giving her a total hitting percentage of .300. Kaylee was celebrated tonight as it was Senior Night for CCU Volleyball along with
Taylor Sturms,
Marissa Lumpkin, and
Jordan Carswell.
The Cougars had 34 kills with 23 errors, compared to the Mustang's 43 kills and 10 errors. This will put CCU at 11-14 overall and 7-7 in conference. You can catch Colorado Christian Volleyball at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO on Nov. 6
