Colorado Christian was beat on Friday afternoon as Colorado Mesa University won 2-0. CCU did everything they could to slow down the offense attack from Mesa, but in the end it was not enough to earn the victory.

The Christian defense did everything they could to combat the offensive onslaught from Mesa, but ultimately it was not enough. Mesa was able to get off 36 shots on junior goalkeeper
Brandon Eide, and was able to make 14 saves. Junior Roy Abergil was the offensive star on the day for Mesa as he scored both goals, the second one coming off of a penalty kick after he was fouled inside the box late in the second half.

The loss drops CCU to 1-10-0, and 1-6-0 in RMAC play. The next game for them is scheduled for Sunday as they will take on Westminster College at Trailblazer Stadium in Lakewood, CO. Game time is scheduled for 11am.
