CCU battled hard for 90 minutes on Friday morning, but were unable to come away with the victory as Adams State won 1-0. It was an evenly matched game throughout the majority, but they were unable to gain any offensive momentum against the stingy Grizzlies defense.
 
Christian came out with fire and passion early on as they were the obvious aggressor throughout the first half. Heading into halftime the score was still tied 0-0. In the 49^th minute Adams State took a free kick and sent it down the sideline. Freshman Elizabeth Anderson centered the pass to teammate Lacey Daniel who executed a perfect header past Christian goalie Claire LaValley for the only score in the game.
 
With the loss, the Cougars drop to 0-10-2 on the year. Their next game will be on Sunday as they take on the 15^th ranked Fort Lewis squad. Game time is scheduled for 1:30pm at Trailblazer Stadium in Lakewood, CO
