CCU Men's Basketball played the Adams State Grizzlies on Friday Dec. 11
th in Alamosa, CO dropping their second conference game in a row 105-95. This puts Christian 4-4 overall, and 0-2 in the RMAC.

This was a very close game with each team having the glory of leading in points several times and then losing it. There was a combined 200 points scored between the Cougars and Grizzlies as both teams fought aggressively for the win. CCU and ASU have very strong offenses this season, so this win was determined by who could protect and keep the ball.

The Grizzlies out-rebounded the Cougs 37-26, but Christian out-shot Adams 55% to 52.5% from the field. Colo. Christian red shirt junior,
Isaiah Hanson scored 26 points for the Cougars going 9-13FG, 2-63FG, and 6-7FT. Senior
Wayne McCullough led in defense with seven rebounds, five assists, and 15 total points. Right behind McCullough in points was
Andre Lane with 14 going 4-6 from the field and 2-3 3-point, and 4-4 from the line.

Adams State capitalized on CCU's turnovers having nine steals and 21 points. Despite the weak grip from blue and gold, they were in the game all the way until the last eight minutes when it was tied 74-74. The Cougs played catch-up to get to this point in the game, and then another turnover happened which led to Adams State strong finish.

CCU went 86.4% from the free throw line and had six players with double digit points. Men's Basketball will be in Durango, CO on Dec. 12
th playing Fort Lewis College. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM MST.
