After winning three straight matches, Colorado Christian Volleyball wrapped their Florida road stretch with a four-set loss at Flagler College. The Cougars won the opening set, but struggled to maintain their momentum through the next three. The loss dropped CCU to 5-5 heading into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference season.

Taylor Sturms did her best to lift the Cougars against Flagler – the senior tallied 18 kills in the loss, hitting .295 after committing just five errors at the net.
Kaylee Pierce added 11 kills in a season-best .474 showing.

Joelle LeFevre totaled 31 combined digs, helping the blue and gold out-perform the Saints in the back row.

Unfortunately, Flagler's efficient effort proved too much for the Cougar squad, especially in the fourth set. The visitors committed a crippling ten attack errors in the final game, hitting -.024 as a team.

After more than a week on the road, Colorado Christian will finally return to Lakewood to open their 2015 home and RMAC season against Black Hills State Friday at 6pm.
