Colorado Christian played under the lights on Saturday night as they took on Western Washington. An offensive onslaught was put on the Cougars by the Vikings, which resulted in a 4-0 loss.

WWU hit the ground running as they began their strong offensive attack as soon as the game began. Just three minutes into the game they found the back of the net to give them the early 1-0 lead over the Cougs. They were not done in the first half, as they added a goal in the 18
th minute, and another one in the 26
th minute, to give them a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.

Senior goalkeeper,
Brandon Eide, did everything he could to limit the damage, but the Vikings offense was too much to handle. They outshot Colorado Christian 39-2 in the game. Eide finished the game with a season high 12 saves.

The loss drops the Cougars record to 0-4-0 on the year. They will be returning home in order to begin conference play as they take on Colorado School of Mines on Wednesday Sep. 14
th. It will be a home game for CCU as they will host the Orediggers at Trailblazer Stadium in Lakewood, CO. The game will begin at 6PM MST.
