The Cougars make their way to the RMAC Tournament this weekend as the women take the #3 seed and the men place #4. The tournament will be hosted by Metro State who took first in both their men and women's programs, at the MSU Denver Regency Athletic Complex in Denver, CO April 22-23.
 
The women will start at 8:00 AM Saturday morning as they take on the #2 Colorado Mesa University. CCU Women's Tennis is 2-4 in conference play, sweeping CSU-Pueblo this season. The Lady Cougs have made huge strides this season with an overall winning record of 8-5. Freshman, Carrie Alberson has led the Cougars in no. 3 singles with a record of 11-1. Her one loss was to Metro State's Courtney Wright who defeated Alberson on March 10^th 6-1, 6-3. This last Thursday, April 13^th Alberson faced-off against Wright for the second time this season and came out on top 6-2, 6-4.
 
The men will start their match play at 11:00 AM Saturday morning against #1 Metro State. The Cougs have battled in a competitive RMAC conference this season, but have not been able to pull off a win going 0-6. Despite the defeats, the Cougars are ready for the RMAC Tournament and excited to compete at a high level.
