Roberts Stands Tall in Setback

DURANGO, Colo. – While the Colorado Christian men's soccer team isn't getting the results they want, on Sunday afternoon Zach Roberts provided a season best effort.

The Cougars fell to Fort Lewis 4-0 in the second of four-game RMAC road swing to end the month.

SEASON BEST EFFORT: Despite the setback Zach Roberts did his best Tim Howard impression with 13 saves. It is the most for an RMAC goalkeeper this season. Furthermore, his performance ties him for the fifth most saves made in a game this season among all NCAA Division II schools.

GOALS BY FORT LEWIS: Even though Roberts put his stamp on the game with his season best effort, Fort Lewis broke through twice in each half. Bar Hazut began the scoring in the third minute with his fifth goal of the season. The score remained 1-0 until the 25th minute when Ty Lang found the back of the cage.

In the second half Hakeem Rabiu made it a three-goal spread in the 64th minute. Lang rounded out the scoring with a net-finder in the 73rd minute.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
