ALAMOSA, CO – Colorado Christian battled against Adams State in the first game of the Cougars road trip.

The game was tightly contested with both defenses playing well throughout, Adams State recorded the only two shots on goal and escaped with the victory, 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Cougars started the game slowly with only one shot in the first half.

The deciding goal was scored in the 25th minute by Adams State on a strike from 18 yards out just past the reach of goalkeeper Ashleigh Maguire.

The second half was more even as both teams recorded four shots. The Cougars best chances to score came in the second half as they recorded two shots in three minutes of game time.

COUGAR LEADERS: Kinley Sanders and Saige Stock both had two shots, Sarah Feller recorded one shot. Maguire had one save in goal.

•          Maguire and Ireland VanDyke split time at goalkeeper with Maguire starting and VanDyke playing the second half.
