Colorado Christian Falls in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY – Less than 48 hours after starting their RMAC home schedule, the Cougars were on the road and in a different state in beginning their road conference slate.

Westminster men's soccer squad got four goals from two players as they shutout Colorado Christian on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Danny Darelli was all the Griffins needed in the first half. Then Max Bingman replicated his teammate in the final stanza.

Darelli scored his initial goal in the seventh minute after taking a pass from Skyler Kjellander. For his second goal he teamed-up with Brody Nelson in the 35th minute to give the home team a two-goal edge after the first 45 minutes.

Bingham scored his brace in just under a two-minute span. He scored his first goal in the 72nd minute then his second in the 73rd minute to round out the scoring.

COUGAR LEADERS: Liam Lakey and Ulises Garcia each took a team high three total shots. All three of Garcia's shots were on frame.
