The Cougars scored four times in the game and held the Mountaineers to just three shots on goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Cougars scored quickly in the first half, with Saige Stock netting her first collegiate goal in the 14th minute of the match. Stock gathered a loose ball in the box off a corner kick and found the back of the net from 12 yards out to give the Cougars the lead.

Colorado Christian had nine shots in the first half but were held to one goal. In the second period the constant pressure on the attack started to pay off with nine more shots, three of them finding the netting.

Amanda Lopez opened the second half scoring with a laser from ten yards out to the top of the net with her left foot in the 48th minute.

Sarah Feller continued the show of offense with a gorgeous set piece goal on a free kick from 20 yards out across the goal to the top right corner in the 69th minute, increasing the lead to 3-0 in favor of the Cougars.

Lopez scored her second goal of the game on a penalty kick after Feller was fouled in the box. The 75th minute goal was smoked into the left side of the net past the keeper to give the Cougars a season high four goals.
