LAKEWOOD, CO - Colorado Christian finished off Alumni weekend in a defensive battle against CSU-Pueblo. Despite 24 shots between the two teams neither one could find the back of the net as the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Both teams played a strong defensive and physical game with the Cougars recording four shots in the first half and five in the second half.
The Cougars best chance to score came in the second overtime period off a free kick from
Sarah Feller that bounced around in the box but none of the Cougars could get a boot on it.
Ireland VanDyke kept the Cougars in the game with four saves in total, three of which were in overtime.
COUGAR LEADERS: Feller led the team with seven shots,
Saige Stock was second with three shots. VanDyke had four saves in the second half and overtime periods.
