EDMOND, OK – The final day of the Edmond Regional Festival saw Colorado Christian battling Fort Hayes State.

Jumping out to an early lead, the Cougars never trailed and cruised to the 7-2 win.

Piper Lujan started the game in the second with a sac fly to left field. Sydney Reamer and Caitlyn McCarthy scored in the fourth on a fielding error.

Stephanie Day tripled down the right field line in the fifth scoring Sami Edwards, McCarthy singled right afterwards and brought Day home.

Fort Hayes State got on the board in the fifth with a two run single to center field. Colorado Christian responded in the bottom of the inning with a RBI single to score Jamie Romero, Day hit a sac fly to score Kiah Parker and set the Cougars up for a 7-2 win.
