ALAMOSA, CO - The Cougars took home their first RMAC victory of the season, 1-0, against Adams State.

HOW IT HAPPENED -  Colorado Christian came out strong and energized in the first half. They kept possession and dominated the first half. In the third minute of the game Senior Celeste Ruelas took charge in the attacking third and shot a low driven shot to the back post for their 1-0 lead. The Cougars had three shots and four corners throughout the course of the match.

Coming into the second half, both teams slowed down their points of attack and attempted to keep the ball at their feet. Colorado Christian and Adams State's goalkeepers each faced three shots and both had one save. Goalkeeper Alana Lopp played in her first 90 minute collegiate game resulting in a shut out and leading the team to a victory.
