LAKEWOOD,CO- The Cougars played for the second time in three days inside the CCU Event Center on Saturday evening, facing off against Barclay College. For the second straight game, CCU used a balanced attack en route to a convincing victory by a final score of 80-50. 

Four players on the night finished in double digit scoring as the offense spread the ball around well all night. Christian Bento led the push with 14 points while Maro Egodotaye chipped in 13. Shaylen Woodberry and Tanner Hecht tallied 10 points apiece to close out scorers in double digits. 

It was a good night to be in the paint for the Cougars as they dropped 50 points inside to their opponents 10. The boards were a strong point on both ends of the floor, as CCU tallied 13 second chance points and allowed none to Barclay. Points off turnovers was also led by the hosts by a margin of 19-8.

The Cougars shot a season best 60.8% from the field on 31-51 shooting. The team effort led to an 80-50 victory over the Bears as CCU moves to 2-2 overall on the year.
