SPEARFISH, S.D. - CCU played the #5 Black Hills State Yellow Jackets in South Dakota on Thursday night. Colorado Christian was overpowered in an 80-51 defeat at the hands of the hosts. 

Shaylen Woodberry led with eight points along with a pair of rebounds. Noah Kon pulled down five rebounds, as did Isaiah Alonzo. DJ McDonald helped facilitate with four assists.

The Cougars saw their bench score 27 points to the hosts 10. CCU led the second chance points 10-6. The rebound battle was dead even at 37 apiece. 

CCU will now head to Chadron State on January 31st with tipoff slated for 7:30 p.m. MST.
