GOLDEN, CO - The Colorado Christian University Cougars track and field team displayed
exceptional performance at the recent Colorado Mines Mini Meet in Golden, CO. The Cougars
showed their prowess in various events, securing top finishes and setting impressive times.
In the 200m event,
Tyler Bradley took the easy victory with a time of 21.34, earning him first
place and showcasing his sprinting prowess. In the highly competitive 400m event,
Jonah Beard
delivered a commendable performance, securing second place with a time of 50.43.
The Cougars' middle-distance runners also shined at the meet.
Jacob Marker clocked in at
2:00.11 in the 800m event, with
Kale Edmonds close behind at 2:00.43, both earning them a spot
in the top ten. In the 1500m event, the Cougars dominated the field, with
Trent Cochran finishing
in an impressive 2nd place with a time of 3:52.19.
Hudson Majeski,
Alex Vance, and Tate
Fletcher also delivered outstanding performances, securing 3rd, 4th, and breaking into the top
ten with provisional times.Â
In the 5000m event,
Isaac Roberts and
Ethan Wampler showcased their endurance and speed,
finishing in the top 5 with impressive times of 15:51.40 and 15:53.13, respectively.
Isaac Russo
had an impressive time in the 10,000m with a 30:26.17 to secure a strong NCAA Provisional Time.Â
