COLORADO SPRINGS, CO- Colorado Christian made the hour trip south to UCCS to take on the #4 ranked Mountain Lions on Thursday night. The hosts staved off the Cougars attack as CCU battled hard in an eventual 2-0 loss.
UCCS came out pressuring heavily to start the game as they had three corner kicks and forced a pair of saves from the CCU keeper

Daniel Garciacano got off a shot late in the half but the teams went to the break with UCCS leading 1-0.
Gillespie kept his team in it with an early first half save, and Garciacano nearly equalized with a strike to the top left corner, but the hosts keeper was up to the challenge with the save.
