Izzy Jones,
Abby Newell,
Lilly Woods and
Renee Phillips all earned Second Team All RMAC while
Shelby Hernandez took home an Honorable Mention.
Jones has been at the center of everything CCU has done the past four years, and her senior year has been no different. The excellent setter eclipsed the 3,000 assists mark early in the season and continued to facilitate at a high level with a team high 1,034 assists and counting on the season to put her second in the conference in that category. Izzy added to that impressive total 45 kills and 259 digs as she has done it all for her team to help lead them to the RMAC Semifinals on Friday.
Newell has had quite the senior season as she has played a crucial role in the success of the team this year. With a team high 296 kills that is sixth best in the RMAC, Abby has a knack for slamming home kills when her team needs her most, including a recent 29 kill outburst to help CCU upset South Dakota Mines in the RMAC Quarterfinals. With 41 blocks and 66 digs, Newell has been a tremendous piece of the team in her final season as a Cougar.
Woods has been a force since she stepped foot on campus four years ago, and she made sure that her final season here would be a memorable one. The middle hitter has amassed 179 kills while being extremely efficient with an attack percentage of .353 which is good for fifth overall in the RMAC. Woods has also tallied an impressive 115 blocks, the 4th most in the conference. With the semifinals approaching, Lilly is ready to continue making the incredible impact she has made all season for her team.

Sitting at fourth in the RMAC with a hitting percentage of .363, Renee has slammed 260 kills on the season. Not only have the kills been crucial for CCU, but the 78 blocks she has registered have been a huge reason why the Cougars find themselves in the conference semifinals for the first time since 2017. The junior will look to continue her efficient hitting and strong blocking as CCU continues postseason play.
Shelby Hernandez came to CCU as a graduate transfer from Radford University this season, and she has immediately stepped in and anchored a strong back row as the libero for the Cougars. Hernandez has totaled an eye popping 457 digs this year which puts her in second place in the conference for that statistic. At a clip of 4.91 digs per set, Shelby has played a vital role in keeping innumerable rallies alive that end in points for her team. The libero has made her mark on CCU volleyball and will look to help her team continue their postseason run on Friday.
