LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced their week 5 softball players of the week on Tuesday, and after a tremendous four games against Colorado Mesa over the weekend, Kenzie Middleton has earned the award for the second time this season. 

Middleton was virtually unstoppable at the plate, figuring out the Mavericks pitching and tallying RBI after RBI. In game one on Saturday, Kenzie had a four RBI game, launching a two-run homer to start her teams' rally before ending the game in walk off fashion with a two RBI single. She followed in game two with an even bigger game, launching a pair of homers including a game breaking grand slam in a 16-6 run-rule victory. 

The next day saw more of the same from Middleton as she stayed consistent at the plate. Kenzie went 2-4 at the plate in game three, including an RBI single and scored two runs in the 10-7 win. Game four saw another ball launched over the fence off the bat of Middleton as she went 3-4 with another two runs scored to lead her team. 

In total, Kenzie posted 12 RBI, four home runs, 11 hits and a .647 batting average over the four games against the Mavericks this past weekend.
