LAKEWOOD, CO- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced their All-American and Gold Glove Team over the past two days, and after tremendous seasons. Arriana Wright and Kat Hanson have received honors from the two organizations for their efforts this season. 

Wright was named a First Team All-American by the D2CCA and earned the lone Gold Glove spot at First Base from the NFCA after an incredible year with the Cougars. Arriana transferred into Colorado Christian for her senior season and has been outstanding for CCU. Playing at first base, the senior from Texas has been incredible with 400 putouts, 15 assists and no errors for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. With her powerful bat she has blasted 19 homers with 5 triples and 15 doubles for a team high 85 RBI. Hitting for an average of .403, an OPS of 1.306 and a slugging percentage of .821, Wright has been pivotal to her teams' historic success this season and has earned All-American and Gold Glove status for her contributions on the diamond. 

Hanson was named a First Team All-American by the NFCA after a truly spectacular sophomore campaign. The Arizona native has earned an impressive .468 batting average, a 1.277 OPS, a .775 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .502. With 70 runs scored in 222 at-bats, Kat has tallied 104 hits, 21 doubles, 4 triples and 13 homers for 66 RBI. Her fielding at second base has been solid as well with 117 putouts, 114 assists and just eight errors for a .967 fielding percentage. Hanson has been lights out all season and has been there for her team all season when they needed her most, and she has become an All-American in just her second collegiate season for her incredible efforts.
