DENVER, CO- Colorado Christian continued RMAC play on Thursday evening with a road matchup at MSU Denver. Led by a strong second half, the nationally ranked Roadrunners pulled away for an 87-66 victory.
Bradley Land and
Tate Odvody hit early jumpers, and an Odvody three-pointer put his team ahead 9-5.
Nathaniel Law hit a jumper, and he followed with a dunk as CCU trailed by just one at 14-13 midway through the half.
Lincoln Cantrall hit a three, but the Roadrunners closed the half with a strong run as they pulled ahead 42-30 at the break.
Shaylen Woodberry opened the half with a three-pointer, and Land hit a layup. However, MSU Denver continued to grow their lead as they streaked ahead 68-48 with 10 minutes remaining.
Bobby McWard connected from downtown while Odvody closed the scoring with a three as MSU Denver eventually came away with the 87-66 victory.
Land led the Cougars with 18 points followed by Odvody with 12.
CCU will now head to Golden on January 18 for a 3 p.m. MST matchup at Colorado School of Mines.
