LAKEWOOD, CO- The Cougars resumed their suspended match from October 3 with Forty Lewis after nearly 25 days, this time playing the final 40:13 at Trailblazer Stadium. Trailing 3-0 when play resumed, the Skyhawks added on two more in a 5-0 setback for CCU. 

A goal in the first half on October 3 saw FLC take a 1-0 lead, and after two goals in the first five minutes of the second half, play was suspended due to lightning in the area. Play resumed in Lakewood on Tuesday evening, and the teams battled until the Skyhawks broke through for a goal in the 75th. They tacked on another late goal in the 85th as the match ended with a 5-0 result. 

The Cougars continue play at home on Halloween with an October 31 matchup against Colorado Mesa at 11 a.m. MDT.
