LAKEWOOD, CO – The Colorado Christian University women's volleyball team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, defeating New Mexico Highlands in straight sets (25–23, 25–21, 25–18) at the CCU Event Center. The win improves the Cougars' record to 10–14 overall and 5–7 in RMAC play, while the Cowgirls fall to 12–14 overall and 4–8 in conference competition.
The Cougars' offense was balanced and efficient, finishing the match with a .242 hitting percentage and a total of 48 kills. Leading the attack was
Connelly Kilgore and
Sierra Crist, who tallied a team-high 12 kills.
Janelle Deboer followed with eight kills for her team.
From start to finish, CCU's control at the net was evident. The Cougars totaled five team blocks, with
Kristina House and
Savannah Majeski each adding strong defensive presence in the back row.
The victory showcased CCU's depth, discipline, and execution as they snagged the sweep.
