DALLAS, TX- Colorado Christian continued their season on Saturday afternoon with a matchup at Dallas Baptist. The Patriots proved too much on this day as CCU suffered a 90-51 setback.
Pierce Bazil splashed in an early three-pointer, while
Porter Bazil got a layup to go midway through the half.
Joshua Reid put in a pair of layups, but DBU scored efficiently to take a 37-22 lead to the halftime break.
Zachary Reed connected for a three early in half two, and
Jimmy House made a layup. House got another layup to go with a little over three minutes left in the game, but in the end it was the Patriots who claimed the 90-51 victory.
Pierce led the offense with 12 points, while Reid and
Andrew Reichart joined him in double digits with 11 and 10 points respectively. Reed, Reichart and
Jared Lloyd Jr. had four rebounds apiece.
The Cougars open play at home on November 21 with a matchup against North American University at 5 p.m. MST.
