KENOSHA, WI- The Cougars closed the 2025 cross country season on Saturday as they took on the nations' best at the NCAA National Championships in Kenosha, Wisconsin. A stellar performance gave the Cougars a 7th place overall finish, their second best in program history as
Matthew Storer claimed All-American honors.
Storer started strong and closed with a fast final kilometer as he claimed 28th with a run of 30:31.1. The placing gave Matt All-American honors, his 11th of his storied career at CCU.
Mateo Luna came next as he ran a 30:52.4 to place 49th overall.
Caleb Hershey closed with a 31:23.1, while
Klay Grant ran a 31:32.3.
Tyler Scholl finished with a 31:46.2, and
Noah Lambers closed with a 32:13.8.
Alex Vance ran a 32:44.3 to close the Championships.
As a team CCU finished with 310 points as they claimed seventh place overall. The finish is the second best in program history as the Cougars closed the cross country season out with a bang and made their fans and school proud in the process.
