LAKEWOOD, CO- For the 10th straight year and 16th time in program history, volleyball has received the AVCA Team Academic Award. This award is given to teams across the country who display a high level of academic excellence throughout the season.
The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the prestigious award on Monday, and once again, CCU has earned the distinction. The honor, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 or higher on a 5.0 scale.
Colorado Christian continues to perform at a high level off the court, and this award rewards all the hard work done in the classroom to maintain a high GPA team-wide.
Congratulations to the Colorado Christian Cougars Volleyball team on earning this impressive academic award for the 10th straight season!
