LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) released their all-conference teams on Thursday, and after stellar seasons, Jordan Heckert,
Elise Grosdidier and
Hayley Luther received Honorable Mention for their efforts.
Heckert led the team in total points and points per game this season, averaging 14.1 points per game and scoring a total of 394 points during the season. Jordon scored a season high 31 points in her second to last collegiate game against New Mexico Highlands, and she led the team in three-pointers with 48. She also shot a team high 85% from the free throw line, also dishing out 53 assists. It was a strong final season for Heckert as she closes with an award from the conference for her excellent efforts.
Grosdidier snags Honorable Mention after a strong sophomore campaign. The Kansas native drained 79 field goals, shooting 42% from the field and amassing 207 points. With an average of 7.7 points per game and a 78% free throw percentage, Elise consistently led her team in rebounds with 109 on the year. She will look to back it up with an even stronger junior season for the Cougars next winter.
Luther snagged honors from the RMAC as she made a name for herself as a three-point specialist for the Cougars. With 42 three-pointers made and 216 points, Hayley made a big impact for her team as she started all 28 games for CCU this season. Averaging 7.7 points per game, Luther pulled down 82 rebounds and dished out 28 assists to close a strong second season at CCU.
