LAKEWOOD, CO- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced their Academic All-RMAC list on Monday, and after a stellar year both on the field and in the classroom, Nathan Owens has earned a place on the First Team Academic All-Conference team. 

Owens graduated with a 4.00 Grade Point Average Business Finance as the catcher showed what it means to be a student-athlete with his hard work and dedication to his studies. On the field Nate was one of the best catchers in the RMAC, collecting 185 catches, 155 putouts, 28 assists and just two errors all season for a fielding percentage of .989. With a strong right arm, Owens gunned down 15 runners attempting to steal on him, the top mark in the RMAC. At the plate, Nate collected 28 RBI with 6 homers and 22 runs scored. The senior from Texas was a leader and difference maker all year for his team, and he has been honored for those efforts by the conference.
