Box Score ST. GEORGE, UT – Colorado Christian headed to Utah on a two game road trip with the first game against Dixie State on Friday. 
Dixie State's high powered offense got off to a quick start and the Cougars could not keep up as Dixie State won 5-1. 
This will be the last time Colorado Christian and Dixie State face off unless they meet in the playoffs as Dixie State is moving to D1 after this season. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: Dixie State scored quickly to open the game, with goals in the sixth and ninth minute of the first half. 
Dixie extended the lead in the 22nd minute with the third goal of the game. 
Saige Stock scored her third goal of the season in the 51st minute on a free kick 20 yards out from the right side to get the Cougars on the board.  
Dixie State responded with two goals of their own in the second half to extend the lead to 5-1 which is where the game would stay as the Trailblazers would go on to get the win. 
 
COUGAR LEADERS: Stock led the team with four shots, two of them being on goal. Ireland VanDyke had eight saves in goal for the Cougars.
