PORTALES, NM - The Cougars conclude their preseason trip with a victory against Eastern New Mexico.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Colorado Christian and Eastern New Mexico competed in an intense game. The Cougars had some stiff competition with an aggressive team that allowed Colorado Christian to step up their level of play.
In the 57th minute
Taya Starnes assisted off a free kick to
Saige Stock who finished the shot in the upper 90. Freshman goalkeeper
Keeley Kroonenberg started her first collegiate game and completed the total 90 minutes.
The Cougars were able to settle the game down and keep possession for a good percentage of the game. There were some close calls but the team kept a level head and out-performed the opposing team.
