CHANDLER, AZ- Colorado Christian finished up play at the RMAC championships in Arizona on Tuesday. The Cougars shot well throughout, taking home third place as a team at the tournament.
ROUND ONE
Xavier Bighaus started strong with a 69 on the par 72 course, including three birdies and an eagle on hole seven. Dylan Arthur followed with a 71 and Zach Slayton posted a 73. Adam Duncan and Cameron Sandland each shot 76Â in their first round.
ROUND TWO
Bighaus followed with an even par score of 72 in his second round. Arthur posted a 73 followed by a 75 from Slayton. Duncan shot an excellent round, posting a 68 with five birdies along the way. Sandland posted a 71 on the day.Â
ROUND THREE
Bighaus closed with a 70 to take home fifth place overall. Duncan shot a 70 as well to place ninth. Slayton shot a 71 to take home 18th and a 73 from Sandland gave him 20th. Arthur closed with a 77 to place 21st overall.Â
The Cougars placed third out of the nine team field with an overall score of 857.Â
UP NEXT- Colorado Christian will now compete at the NCAA Regional Championships in Stockton, California May 2-4 at the Brookside Country Club.
